Danielle L.C. Beach-Oswald

Mrs. Beach was born in Brussels, Belgium. She is married with two (2) adult children, Phillippe and Adriane.

Mrs. Beach received her Bachelor's degree in English from the Loma Linda University in 1975 and her Master's Degree in Comprehensive Literature from the University of California at Riverside. Her law degree was received in 1991. Her professional career includes teaching high school and college in California from 1976 to 1985. She also worked as judicial intern with the circuit Court in Rockville, Maryland, interned with the Maryland Governor's office, and worked as legal assistant with the Maryland State Teacher's Association.

Mrs. Beach started her immigration practice when she joined Noto & Oswald, PC in 1992.

She is the Managing partner of the Beach-Oswald Immigration Law Associates, PC from September 1996 until the present. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland Bar Associations. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

She is also a former teacher and instructor in writing, with strong Christian values emphasized. She is an expert in asylum and immigration court deportation issues, with a priority of HONESTY with the client.

Robert Leon Oswald

Mr. Oswald was born in Glendale, California. He is married and has one son, Scott Oswald.

Mr. Oswald served four (4) years in the United States Air Force.

He received his Bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Maryland in 1960. He was awarded a J.D. degree from the George Washington University in 1964. He was also voted the "Outstanding Law Student" by his fellow students that same year. He became the Chief of Staff to House Representative William S. Mailiard of San Francisco from 1966 to 1969. Mr. Oswald was appointed as Congressional Relations Officer for the Interstate Commerce Commission in 1970. He was also nominated and confirmed as Secretary to the Interstate Commerce Commission from 1970 to 1978. Mr. Robert L. Oswald was also elected Chairman of the DC Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) from 1989 to 1990.

Mr. Oswald is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also a member of the DC and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Charlotte Luckstone-Leavell

Charlotte Luckstone Leavell was born and raised in Long Island, New York.

Ms. Leavell graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in Government in 2006. She attended the American University-Washington College of Law (WCL), graduating with her JD in May 2009. While at WCL, Ms. Leavell was a member of the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, which afforded her the opportunity to teach constitutional law at Wilson Senior High School in Tenleytown.

Ms. Leavell was admitted to the Virginia Bar in November 2009. In addition to working at BOILA, P.C., Ms. Leavell has experience at the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Maureen Johnson

Maureen Johnson was born and raised in Southern California.

Ms. Johnson earned her B.A. from U.C. Berkeley in Peace and Conflict Studies in May 2003, where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded Phi Beta Kappa. In her department, Ms. Johnson’s area of concentration was international human rights and humanitarian law. After publishing an honors thesis on the efficacy of the UN international tribunals and the International Criminal Court, she graduated with high honors and distinction. While perusing her undergraduate degree, she worked at the American Civil Liberties Union in San Francisco, California.

In May 2008, Ms. Johnson received her J.D. from American University's Washington College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude, ranked in the top 5% of her class, and received the Mussey Award for scholastic achievement. She is a member of the Order of the Coif, an honor society for law school graduates that is generally considered one of the highest honors a law student can receive. Ms. Johnson joined Beach-Oswald as a part-time Law Clerk in January 2007. In addition to her work at Beach-Oswald, Ms. Johnson worked as a Dean’s Fellow at Washington College of Law, interned at the Department of Justice, Office of International Affairs, as well as worked at various local non profits, advancing various issues within the field of international human rights law.

Robert Almosd

Mr. Almosd was born in Hungary in 1969. He is married to Andrea Kiss and they have two children, Zora and Mirko. He has been in the United States since 1992.

He received his BA in English in 2000. His law degree was received in May 2005.

He was awarded US citizenship in 2001. He worked as Legal Assistant to Danielle Beach-Oswald for seven (7) months in 2001. He took a leave from work to concentrate on his legal education. He returned to work for Danielle Beach-Oswald as legal assistant from 2004 until he was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December 2005. He was then promoted to Associate Attorney at Noto & Oswald, PC.

Mr. Almosd is currently the Director of Amnesty International.
